When was the last time you stopped and really reflected on what your position in business, ministry or life has become? Maybe it’s time to Recycle Yourself. What does that mean? I’m glad you asked. What happens when we recycle paper or plastic? These items become something else. Usually something that is more effective, useful and beneficial.
I came to the realization that God had to be the one to recycle me and not myself. I asked God to unveil His vision for me in order for me to flourish the way He wanted me to. For recycling, the first process was to realize that business, ministry or life is not a production but a way to connect the Word to God’s people. Then God showed me that in order for our bodies to be used we needed to fast, do Bible Study with each other, to pray for each other and to present ourselves on a daily basis to Him. When that happened we were able to minister the Word of God to others in the way that God unveiled His glory to us. When I accepted the challenge that Christ presented to me with business, ministry and just life, I remembered 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NLT), “So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.”
God removed the veil of the world and revealed to me what life looks like through His eyes. Sometimes taking a step back and looking at the situation through God’s eyes allows you to see where changes need to be made. Here is a question to ponder: “What needs to be recycled in your position in business, ministry or life that God has placed you over in order for it to continue to be used by Him?”
